Liza Dries is a Dutch-born, Copenhagen-based audiovisual artist, songwriter and producer connecting the immediacy of pop and electronic music with the ethereal. Her works explore both the earthly and otherworldly beauty where intimate themes are juxtaposed by digital, glitchy artifacts and harmonic vocals.
Her debut album Year of Romance (2025, Intercept Records) conjures a palette where the DNA of hyperpop, shoegaze, breakbeat, house and ambient coalesce. Her earlier EPs Tegenkomer (2021) and RL (2022) were released on Safe Space Records.
Her releases have been featured by BBC6 Radio, KEXP, Clash Magazine, Kaltblut, Year0001, Zweikommasieben, Beats Per Minute, Highclouds, and ByteFM.
miaw is an electronic duo formed by Liza Dries and Danish artist Frederik Fog Bruun, based between Berlin and Copenhagen. Their sound is described as fast dreamwave — indulging breakbeats and glitch vocals in a playful, disorienting pop world.
The project released the EP My Petswan in 2024 on Petrola 80, followed by the single moving in in 2026 on Purr Records.

Taxi is the debut EP by Amsterdam-based artist Lena Hessels, marking a new era in her sound — moving from dreamy indie pop into hyperpop and electronic production. The EP was performed live at Cinetol, Amsterdam in September 2024 as a full try-out show with choreography and staging.
Lena Hessels is a singer, songwriter and producer from Amsterdam, daughter of Terrie Hessels (guitarist of The Ex). Her previous singles received airplay from more than 40 radio stations in the UK and Netherlands.
Part of the © Remixes EP on Intercept Records, featuring remixes of Coloray's album © by Liza Dries, Anastasia Kristensen, DC Salas, and Massimiliano Pagliara. Liza's remix of New Form is a drum & bass-influenced rework running at 150 BPM.
A collaboration with Belgian/UK producer Posij — described as a magical, ethereal alt-pop track. Released on the OKAY label in October 2024.
